Announcing Sydney Seaplane Event Dates for 2012

At the Penrith Regatta Centre...

This is a strictly water-plane only event.
The event is 2.4 GHz only due to close proximity with another local club.
Pilot / Safety briefing will be held at 9:300am, with flying to start shortly after. Please no flying before the briefing.
Safety first, the pilots briefing will awill again highlight no fly zones etc on the day and please make sure planes are in good working order.
All pilots will need to register on the dat to be able to fly; there is a fee for the use of the facilities of $15 per pilot.
Make sure you have your MAAA card available. We can't let you fly without it.
There is a cafe on site that is usually open 150m away from the flying site. Alternatively bring your own thermos / sandwiches / refreshments. No BBQs are allowed at the venue.
The speed limit in the venue is 20kph and please be mindful of other users.
No parking on the grass verge of the lake. Please unload just off the grass and then park your vehicle in the main carpark which is ~30m away.
Advisable to bring your own shade shelter!
This venue is glass free so please do not bring any glass containers.
The venue is also a no smoking zone and we ask that you respect this requirement.
Toilets are a short walk from the site (50metres).
Entry is Via Gate A from Old Castlereagh Road, veer left at the fork in the driveway , over the bridge and far end of the carpark.
